Tara Dodson

Tara Dodson prides herself on being patient and resilient, qualities she believes are vital when leading a team. With more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, the Florida native is honored to have played a role in developing some of the biggest talents in the local restaurant community.

Dodson launched her hospitality career at the age of 14 working at a yogurt cafe at PGA National. She grew her knowledge of the industry as a Corporate Trainer for California Pizza Kitchen. After graduating from Florida Atlantic University, Dodson gained experience in branding while working in medical marketing and public relations. There, she also learned that her heart was in the restaurant business. 

Mahogany Prime Steakhouse in Oklahoma City recruited Dodson, where she quickly advanced to become the Corporate Training Director. In 2017, she came home to Florida to assist in opening 1000 NORTH as the Service Director. 

Dodson’s attention to detail, focus on structure, and commitment to providing the highest level of service have made her a sought-after leader. As she has at Beacon, she is able to execute each stage of a unique concept from the ground up.
